FAQ > Any questions? > How do I find the best drama school for me?
Do your research. First stop should be the conference of drama schools which compromises Britain's 22 leading drama schools (links to CDS schools can be found at www.drama.ac.uk). Or you may prefer to study for a degree at University or College, then go on to do a one or two year postgraduate course at drama school. Funding these can be a challenge although many schools runs scholarships and working in part-time jobs whilst training a common necessity. The Poor School is a London based school offering evening training to those who cannot afford to give up full time work (we do represent actors who graduated from the Poor School). The schools we most visit include LAMDA, RADA, DRAMA CENTRE, GUILDHALL, GSA, RADA, ARTS ED and MOUNTVIEW.
