FAQ > Any questions? > What does a casting director do?
Casting directors work closely with Directors and Producers to decide which actors are suitable to be met and eventually cast for a role. Agents submit ideas to casting directors on the projects they are working on and will then discuss their clients with the casting director. We also take casting directors, producers and directors to the theatre to see our client's work and provide them with show-reels. At Hatton McEwan we have excellent relationships with the top casting directors.
